Toss Up a Weeknight Winner: Stir-Fried Beef Noodles

Looking for a quick, flavour-packed dinner that hits all the right notes? These Stir-Fried Beef Noodles are your answer. With tender slices of beef sirloin, crisp vegetables, and silky rice noodles tossed in a savoury sauce, this dish is a weeknight winner that feels like a takeaway treat—without the wait.

The Star Ingredient

We’ve used The Four Butchers Chuck Steak for this recipe – a cut that’s rich, tender, and perfect for soaking up marinades. Thinly sliced and quickly seared, it brings bold beef flavour and satisfying texture to every bite.

Chuck steak is a versatile cut that performs beautifully in stir-fries. Its marbling and structure hold up well to high heat, making it ideal for fast cooking while still delivering depth and juiciness. In this noodle dish, it’s the hero that ties everything together.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Slice the beef and prepare all vegetables and sauces.

Ingredients prepped and ready to go.
2. Cook the Noodles

3. Sear the Beef

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.

4. Sauté the Aromatics

In the same skillet, add onion and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

5. Add the Veggies

Toss in bell pepper and carrot. Stir-fry until just tender but still crisp.

6. Combine Everything

Return the beef to the skillet along with the cooked noodles. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.

Stir-frying beef, noodles, and vegetables together.
7. Serve

Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Ready to serve and enjoy.

Why You’ll Love It

This dish strikes the perfect balance of flavour, texture, and speed. Tender beef, crisp vegetables, and silky noodles come together in a glossy, umami-rich sauce—all in under 30 minutes.

It’s endlessly adaptable too: swap in your favourite vegetables or use what’s already in the fridge. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or prepping for the week, this recipe delivers big on flavour with minimal effort.
